Book your wedding cake as soon as you know you would like A Bonnie Wee Cake to be your supplier, even if you don’t know the design you would finally like. Every year we turn away brides who think 6-9 months is enough notice.  This may be the case for a date which is outwith ‘wedding season’ however, ‘wedding season’  is getting longer each year.  A Bonnie Wee Cake only do one or two wedding orders per week, depending on how time consuming the order is.  It is always our priority to give our customers 100% satisfaction, and we can only do this if we give ourselves enough time to do your job properly.

Again, never think it is too early. Our diary is open for the current year, and the next two. Our diary fills up quickly with wedding cakes because they are generally booked well in advance.  This means that you have to be just as organized if you would like a birthday cake or any other celebration cake.

Sometimes,  we can do smaller orders for sweet treats with little notice because these can be tied in with our other larger orders, however, again, if you can give us as much notice as possible. You may think, ‘ its only something simple, surely it can be squeezed in?’ however, your something simple is on top of what is already being done that week…. If I take on more work, it means something somewhere is being rushed, therefore it is not being done to the best of my ability. 

To book a cake, you will need to confirm the date is still available.  Get in touch via email, or facebook and we will check the diary to let you know.

The deposit payable on a wedding cake order is £50.  This secures your date.  An additional deposit may be payable if you are also ordering favours. 

The deposit payable on any other order is £20.

No. At A Bonnie Wee Cake we are happy to help you design your cake.  Bring ideas or have none, we are here to help make the process as easy as we can.

No.  Although there are lots of people who still love a traditional fruit cake, it has become a less popular option for modern brides.  Most cakes are now sponge cake and this can even be a different flavor in each tier.  A fruit tier can be incorporated in this, most commonly on the top.  Or, another option is to have a small separate fruit cake which can go into your wedding venues kitchen and be cut and served with the evening buffet. 

The balance of your wedding order is payable two weeks prior to your wedding day.

The balance of any other order is payable on pick up.
