Macaron
A macaron is a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, ground almond, and food colouring. The macaron is commonly filled with ganache, buttercream or jam and is characterized by a smooth top, ruffled circumference (referred to as their feet) and a flat base. It is mildly moist and easily melts in the mouth and comes in a wide variety of flavours and colours.
