Where flavour meets fine art
For the most delicious flavours, I choose ingredients I trust: local farm eggs, good-quality butter and dairy, and fruit at its very best, whether fresh or frozen. I flavour my cakes with real ingredients wherever possible – homemade syrups and fresh zest rather than bottled flavourings, pistachios in the pistachio sponge, almonds in the almond cake and I make my own jam for the fillings. I also use Callebaut Belgian chocolate and Madagascan vanilla because only ingredients that add genuine depth and flavour make it into my cakes.
Each cake is baked fresh using recipes I’ve developed and refined over the past ten years, then hand finished with modern techniques and elegant design details for a beautifully polished product.

Get in touch with your wedding date, venue and approximate guest count. That’s all I need to begin with. Designs and cake flavours are usually finalised around six months before your wedding day.
2
My price guide gives you an initial idea of size and cost, but as every cake is bespoke, the final price will depend on your chosen design and details. If I’m available for your wedding date and you’d like to go ahead, a booking fee and your contact details will secure your date in my diary. We don’t finalise the design until around six months before your wedding, when we’ll go through ideas, budget and details together. So there’s no pressure to have it all decided at the time of booking.

Throughout the year, I offer postal tasting boxes (£30) featuring five of my most popular flavours. These are generally available outside of peak wedding season, when I have more time to bake and post them. If you’d like to sample my cakes before booking, you’re very welcome to request one when they’re next available.

Around six months before your wedding, we’ll arrange your design and tasting consultation. This is where we’ll bring your ideas together, choosing flavours, finalising the finer details and ensuring your cake compliments the look and feel of your day. Consultations can take place in person at my Falkland studio or remotely, depending on what suits you best.

Once your design and flavours are confirmed, you’ll receive a full summary including final details, delivery and setup arrangements so everything feels clear and organised. On your wedding day, I personally deliver and set up your cake, ensuring it looks perfect and is ready to be enjoyed – you won’t need to worry about a thing.
We have a comprehensive allergen policy at A Bonnie Wee Cake. Please ask if you need advice.
"An extraordinary wedding cake."
My work is commissioned by couples who place value on a thoughtfully designed, elegant and seamless experience from first conversation to delivery on the day. Pricing reflects the time spent, expertise and level of finish involved in creating your wedding cake, rather than a fixed or formula-based approach.
Every design is developed individually, with careful attention given to proportion, detail and how the cake will sit within the wider aesthetic of your wedding. I now limit the number of couples I work with to ensure everyone’s wedding cake receives the focus and care it deserves.
Over the years, I’ve created cakes for weddings held at some of Scotland’s most beautiful and prestigious venues, working alongside discerning couples and highly regarded luxury suppliers in environments where exceptional standards, reliability, discretion and absolute attention to detail are essential qualities that underpin every part of my work.
To assist with early planning, you’ll find a guide to starting prices and portion sizes below. These are based on round cakes with a simple finish and standard wedding portions (2 x 1″). Final quotations are bespoke and will reflect the addition of delivery and on-site setup.
