In all seriousness, A Bonnie Wee Cake has become a successful, awards nominated small business only through Alison’s determination and commitment to provide excellent service to every customer.

From a social work background, Alison is entirely self-taught and has developed her skills practising on family, then selling cupcakes, novelty cakes and now predominantly wedding cakes. ABWC has grown through word of mouth and reputation. From its beginnings in Alison's home kitchen, A Bonnie Wee Cake moved to Switzerland, then to Falkland. Alison rented premises within the beautiful, historic village of Falkland for 4 and a half years before building her own purpose built cake studio at her home in Falkland.

Alison’s ethos is to provide a service and quality of product that she would be happy to receive. Nothing less is acceptable. Her primary aim is always to ensure her customers feel relaxed and comfortable, which is met in equal measure by Alison's determination to fulfill her customers expectations in both looks and taste.
